Essen 2024 is now over. The club has sent his best emissaries to the fair.

Games will be slowly presented and be available during the month of November.

– Arcs : A sharp sci-fi strategy game set in a dark yet silly universe. Ready yourself for dramatic twists and turns as you launch into this galactic struggle.

– Beyond the Horizon : A civilization game in which players compete to become the most influential society in history through exploration and expansion, development and production, research and technological advancement.

– Bomb Busters : The players place the tiles on their stands and then take turns pointing at each others’ wires and guessing their values. If the guess is correct, the wires are cut. If not, the detonator advances! If you manage to cut all wires without blowing up : good job, the mission is completed, but if the bomb goes off… Try again!

– Celtae : A “worker swapping” game powered by a rondel in which players choose actions to perform during their turn. On their turn, players swap one of their three active workers with one of the three workers on the action space they wish to perform, then they perform the action which will be boosted if they have in their worker pool specific types of workers: farmers, builders, soldiers, and nobles.

– Civolution : A medium heavy to heavy euro-style game that utilizes a dice selection mechanism to trigger actions on a tech tree-like structure. As you figure out how to best use your dice and put your unique cards into play, tons of strategies and paths to victory emerge, though each time you play, you will only explore a fraction of the possibilities that the game’s system and many cards provide.

– Cube Express : Cubes are the currency of progress in Cube Express, each one representing a vital piece of the economic puzzle. Whether they signify passengers eager for transport, resources ripe for production, or lucrative contracts waiting to be fulfilled, every cube holds the potential to shape the destiny of your railroad empire.

– Diluvium : As the leader of a powerful civilization, you must explore and settle the islands available to you, with the goal of gaining the most gold possible.

– Fairy Ring : Create a mushroom village to house the fairies in the clearing. Guide your fairy carefully, from village to village, through the fairy ring to gather as much mana as possible. You have two seasons to develop your village before winter begins. Each decision counts towards winning the game.

– Final Girl : Playing on a famous horror movie trope, Final Girl is a solitaire-only game that puts the player in the shoes of a female protagonist who must kill the slasher if she wants to survive.

– Flatiron : Participate in the construction of this iconic building. Both you and your opponent will need to develop your companies by adding new cards to your personal board, thereby allowing you to perform more and better actions on each of the surrounding streets. When the roof is placed, and everything is ready for the grand opening, the game ends. Victory and recognition will go only to the player who has accumulated the most points.

– Freelancers : Congratulations! Humanity is dead! The bad news is that all they left behind is their garbage and a broken gig economy. That’s why we need freelancers like you who are ready to take any job, no matter how loathsome. As a freelancer, you will delve into ruins, brave the wilds, and slay the hordes of hideous creatures that litter the dark forgotten corners of the world. All so you can gather loot and return home, ready to blow it all and start over again the next day. It’s a lousy gig, so it’s perfect for the likes of you.

– Golden Cup : The fever for the Fantasphere is now rampant. From all over the kingdom, creatures of all sorts have come with the dream of becoming a champion of this new sport. The capital is overrun with wannabe players, but as you well know, even the strongest players will not be able to win without a guide. That’s why you’re here, as part of a group of young coaches who will have to grab the best talent, manage finances, and build the best team. Unfortunately, the competition is fierce, and at the end of the championship, only one will be able to get their hands on the legendary Golden Cup. Will you be the one to triumph in the grand final?

– Harmonies : Build landscapes by placing colored tokens and create habitats for your animals. To earn the most points and win the game, incorporate the habitats in your landscapes wisely and have as many animals as you can settle there.

– Kinfire Delve : Vainglory’s Grotto, Scorn’s Stockade and Callous’ Lab : Tactical and cooperative card games for 1-2 players. As Seekers, you will fight your way through the well deck of challenge cards to reach Vainglory, Scorn or Callous, the master of the well, and face each of them in an epic final battle.

– Minos : Dawn of the Bronze Age : As leaders of Minoan clans players are in charge of the first European civilization. Build cities, monuments and other structures, open new trade routes, expand and fight off outsiders out of your land, plan your actions with your clan council, research and issue decrees so your actions will be more powerful than your opponents! You have only 4 rounds to prove you are worthy of the legendary Minos title.

– Ratjack : Welcome to the Ratcity Casino! Here, rats, weasels and rodents of all kinds gather to play Ratjack. Paws are sweaty, whiskers are quivering, the cards are dealt…it’s your turn to play. At any point in the game, a player with more than 25 in value in front of them is taken out. Card abilities are interactive effects that allow players to manipulate cards and their value. Players earn points by taking out their opponents. Try to be the last player standing or reach 25 exactly!

– Shackleton Base : A Journey to the Moon : A permanent base is being built in the Shackleton crater at the Moon’s South Pole. You’re leading one of the space agencies that are working together to expand their presence on the base, while at the same time the three major corporations sponsoring the mission are each pursuing their own agenda.

– Sky Team : Turbulence : An expansion for Sky Team in which terrible weather conditions and technical incidents will be the order of the day for your landings.

– The Lord of the Rings : Duel for Middle-earth : A dark rumour rises from Mordor. The Eye turns to Middle-earth. The hour has come. The Fellowship is reunited. The Heroes prepare for battle. Will you play as the Fellowship of the Ring to defend the free races and destroy the One Ring? Or will you play as Sauron and pursue Frodo and Sam while deploying your hordes to the gates of the enemy cities? The destiny of Middle-earth is in your hands!

– Tower Up : Congratulations! Your architectural firm has been selected to renovate the city’s downtown…but you’re not the only ones. To pip your opponents at the post, you need to manage your resources and carefully plan your constructions. Be careful not to leave too many opportunities to your competitors!

– Undaunted 2200 : Callisto : Jovian Moon Base – Callisto, 22nd Century AD: Tensions have arisen between the conglomerate of Earth’s leading corporations that funded the base and the mining collective tasked with operating it. Protests have erupted, strikes been called, and contracts broken. Private security forces have been hired, industrial mining vehicles repurposed for combat, and long-disused military mechs reawoken. The battle for Callisto is about to begin: It’s time to choose your side.

– Candy Hunters : Place tiles of houses to build specific pattern and get points. Having your kids on the tile included in the pattern gets you candies and removes that tiles from the neighborhood. There are also ghost that can scare kids and move them to adjacent tiles. It can ruin your plan or… help you! Try to manipulate ghosts at your advantage.

– Numbers Up! : Test your manual dexterity, visual attention and mental calculation to be the first to build your tower of numbers according to the challenges posed and achieve victory.

– Kids Chronicles : The Old Oak prophecy : An old prophecy warns that there a serious threat endangers the forest and only those brave enough to confront it can save the forest. In every scenario, players will have to solve a mystery and retrieve an object, which will aid in the fight against this ominous threat.
